The Viñas del Golf course is located at Algodon Wine Estates in San Rafael, Mendoza- Argentina's own "Napa Valley." As one of the premiere wine and golf estates in all of Argentina, Viñas del Golf is a member of Argentina Wine Hotels and is situated on Mendoza's "Ruta del Vino" (Wine Trail). We proudly offer 9-holes of championship golf, world-class boutique wine production, award-winning restaurant cuisine, delightful wine tours and tastings, luxury resort lodging with state-of-the-art amenities, breathtaking landscapes, and unparalleled views of the Sierra Pintada Mountains, at the base of the Andes.

The course was designed by Ricky Jurado Jr., grandson to José Jurado; "The father of Argentine Professional Golf". José is perhaps best known for his losing stroke to Tommy Armour at the 1931 British Open. The famous double bogey was at Carnoustie Golf Club's 17th hole, and is reproduced in this course.

With the expert eye of our landscape artists, our meticulously kept golf greens have been brilliantly crafted and designed to harmonize with and compliment our prospering vineyards, orchards, and traditional Mendocinian architecture. The golf green's surrounding resort and micro-community have been thoughtfully designed by world-renowned master architects Bormida & Yanzon. The 1st phase of Viñas del Golf's expansion is currently underway, and includes the upgrade of our current 9-holes into an 18-hole course; scheduled for completion and open for play by April 2009.
