PGA officials have been traveling throughout South America trying to figure out how to launch a Latin American circuit similar to the Nationwide Tour. Now a group of Argentina’s leading vineyard developments are stepping to the tee box and taking the first swing at showcasing Mendoza as the ideal setting for such golf tournaments. Golf on the Wine Trails (Golf por los Caminos de Vino) will take place this fall and feature national and international golfers facing off on four of the best golf courses in Mendoza: Tupungato Winelands (April 18), Algodon Wine Estates (April 28), La Vacherie Country Golf (May 12) and Atamisque (May 19). Event organizers acknowledge the strong overlap between golf and wine lovers and a collective desire to make Golf on the Wine Trails a year-round attraction for Mendoza tourism.

Buenos Aires' 10-suite luxury hotel Algodon Mansion and its restaurant, Chez Nous, joined the Relais & Châteaux hospitality group. Located in Buenos Aires' Recoleta residential district, Algodon Mansion is the city’s only Relais & Châteaux hotel, and Chez Nous is the second restaurant in Buenos Aires to join the group. The hotel features 10 suites, some exceeding 1,200 square feet and all finished in the mansion's Belle Epoque architecture.
