Scott Mathis

Scott Mathis is the founder and Chairman of DPEC Partners, and as its driving force, he continues to implement his vision of creating unprecedented ground-floor investment opportunities for high net-worth investors. He has had extensive experience in both investment and management, and has worked in the financial industry for over 20 years. Mr. Mathis received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Mississippi State University, and also served in the Mississippi Air National Guard. He began his career at Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith, and was a partner at Oppenheimer and Company. Mr. Mathis also served as a Senior Vice President and member of the Directors Council at Lehman Brothers, and has worked with Alex Brown and Sons, and The Boston Group. No stranger to building a business from the ground up, he was responsible for the management of the Palm Beach, Florida office of Gruntal and Company, Inc. He is also the founder of DPEC Capital, Inc. (member of FINRA, SIPC, and SIFMA), InvestProperty Group, LLC, and InvestBio, Inc. Mr. Mathis serves on the Board of Directors of The Vaccine Company (currently in Phase III clinical trials for a promising leukemia vaccine) and Kinexis, Inc. Mr. Mathis also serves as an observer on the Board of Directors for AmpliMed, Inc.
