Gary H. Bedian, CLO, is an international commercial real estate developer and hospitality asset manager. With 26 years’ experience structuring multi-million dollar transactions, Mr. Bedian specializes in Real Estate Development, Acquisition & Disposition, International Hotel Franchising, and Management Contract Negotiations. Mr. Bedian launched and directs Bedian International (BI) in Los Angeles, a boutique real estate investment banking and advisory firm. His domestic expertise has translated into success with major business interests in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, and the developing economies of former Soviet States. He was awarded a major grant from the World Bank to formulate a privatization strategy for the high-tech sector in Armenia, and he articulated a vision to investors for launching world-recognized hotel brands for the former Soviet state. Specializing in international business diplomacy, Mr. Bedian is an ambassador of goodwill in both business and in the civic arena. Under BI, Mr. Bedian founded redRelif (which provides 11th Hour Asset Staging and Management) as well as Rest Magazine, a boutique hotel and lifestyle publication. Mr. Bedian has accumulated numerous designations and appointments, including a 1992 appointment as Vice-Minister of Industry & Trade and Chief advisor for the Republic of Armenia. He is also the co-founder of the Armenian American Chamber of Commerce, the 1st chamber for a former Soviet Republic. At the Institute of National Economy, Mr. Bedian earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with emphasis on Finance, and a Master of Economics degree with distinction. He graduated with honors from Holy Cross High in Montebello, California, after immigrating to the US at age 15 from Aleppo, Syria. He and his wife of thirty years, Helen, are the proud parents of Christopher, who earned a degree in philosophy and is an aspiring musician, and Tro, active in extra-curricular pursuits including chess and soccer. The family currently resides in Los Angeles, California. They enjoy extensive international travel.
